The review process is an important part of the paper publication process.
It assists an editor in making an article judgement and also allows the author to improve the manuscript.
The review process at Academic Journals is double-blind.
During the review process, the identity of the author(s) is taken from the manuscript and hidden from the reviewers.
The reviewer is left with only the text and no information that could lead to the author's identity being discovered (s).The author(s) name, address/affiliation, country, phone/fax, and email address were all removed. Before sending the paper to reviewers, any material in the Acknowledgement and Declaration of Conflict of Interest that could lead to the author's name being revealed is removed from the manuscript.
Members of the journal's editorial board or other qualified Internal reviewers are assigned to manuscripts. The OJS Manuscript Management System is used for the review process & logs of entire review journey of a manuscript is generated.
One of the following suggestions is made by the reviewers:
- Accept Unconditionally- Accept, with or without editorial revisions.
- Accept Conditionally- Invite the authors to revise their manuscript to address specific concerns before a final decision is reached.
- Reject in Current Form- Reject, but indicate to the authors that further work might justify a re-submission.
- Reject Outright- Reject outright, typically on grounds of specialist interest, lack of novelty, insufficient conceptual advance or major technical and/or interpretational problems.
Basis on recommondations from reviewer's after revision's/improvements by author in the Article, the editorial board's decision regarding whether or not to include a manuscript in a volume is considered final.
