Article Processing Charges (APC)

The International Journal for Global Academic & Scientific Research (IJGASR) is an Open Access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely and immediately available to readers worldwide.

Cost Coverage (Volumes 1–4, Issue 2):
Up to Volume 4, Issue 2, all operating costs—including peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, journal management, web hosting, pre-press preparation, and staff salaries were fully supported by the publisher.

APC Introduction (From Volume 4, Issue 3):
Beginning with Volume 4, Issue 3, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 750 applies to manuscripts of up to 12–15 pages that are accepted after peer review.

  • For manuscripts exceeding 12–15 pages, an over-length fee of USD 20 per additional page will be charged.
  • Authors are encouraged to plan in advance to cover the APC and any applicable over-length fees.

No Submission Fees:

  • The journal does not charge any submission fees.
  • Articles that are not accepted for publication incur no cost to authors.
  • Certain content types—including editorials, corrections, addenda, retractions, and comments are published free of charge.

Tax Policy:
All fees are exclusive of VAT, GST, or other applicable sales taxes. Where required by law, these taxes will be applied at the point of payment and displayed separately. Authors with a valid VAT, GST, or sales tax identification number should provide this information during payment processing.

This APC structure ensures transparency in cost recovery and aligns with best practices for Open Access publishing.

Waivers and Discounts List

To support researchers who may not be able to meet the full cost of publishing in Open Access, the International Journal for Global Academic & Scientific Research (IJGASR) operates a clear and transparent waiver policy.

  • An automatic 50% waiver on Article Processing Charges (APCs) is granted for manuscripts in which the corresponding author is based in any of the countries listed below (according to recognized low-income and lower-middle-income country classifications, e.g., World Bank/Research4Life).

  • Waivers and discounts are provided only after peer review and acceptance, ensuring that editorial decisions remain independent of the author’s ability to pay.

This policy is designed to ensure equitable access to Open Access publishing opportunities for researchers worldwide.
